Port Blair, Nov. 13: No COVID positive case has been detected today in A&N Islands. Today, 16 flights with 2691passengers arrived, out of which, 2481 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 38 passengers and the reports are awaited.  

Port Blair, Nov. 11: The Department Related Parliamentary Committee on Industry headed by its Chairman, Shri Tiruchi Siva (Rajya Sabha) along with other Committee Members viz. Shri Birendra Prasad Baishya (Rajya Sabha), Smt. Sulata Deo (Rajya Sabha), Shri Sandosh Kumar P (Rajya Sabha), Ravindra Kushwaha (Lok Sabha), Bidyut Baran Mahato (Lok Sabha) and Sunil Dattatray Tatkare (Lok Sabha) held meeting with the Chief Secretary, A&N Islands and M/o MSME on implementation of PMEGP scheme in A&N Islands at Taj Exotica, Swaraj Dweep.

Port Blair, Nov. 11: After the declaration of vacancy notice by the ANI Administration, Smti. Sajida Banu, Pradhan, GP Mannarghat and PRI members along with the noble workers from Port Blair Guru ki Rasoi had arranged ‘Free Competitive Coaching Classes’ at Mannarghat Panchayat.

Keralapuram, Nov. 11: The visitors to the exhibition held at Govt. Secondary School, Keralapuram were enthralled by the creative models showcased today. Applauding the students for their work, the Chief Guest, the Deputy Education Officer, Shri R.P Pandey said that the “Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan” is a national programme, which aims at providing opportunities to the students to showcase their talents. He said that money should not be an obstacle, that's why financial assistance is also provided to the students to develop their models in Science, Mathematics, Art and craft. This Exhibition is an example of the success of this Abhiyan, he said. Congratulating the school, Shri Pandey said that the exhibition is an example of its successful endevour, in bringing out the hidden talent of the children of this rural region. He called upon the students to develop confidence among themselves.

Port Blair, Nov. 11: Many girl hostellers of JNRM college had visited Congress Party office and expressed their grievances regarding the functioning of the hostel before the Pradesh Congress Committee President, Shri. Rangalal Halder, Campaign Committee Chairman Shri. TSG Bhaskar, National Students Union of India (NSUI) State President, Mr. M.A. Sajid and City Congress Committee President Mohd. Zubair.
